Accountants are Like . . . I Guess Like Accountants

There's no business like show business, but there are several businesses like accounting.  David Letterman.

Joe Kristan shows he is really in the holiday spirit over on the Roth & Company Tax Update blog when he followed up on tax professor James Maule's post that every profession has its good and bad.  I know a lot of people don't like lawyers but weasels AND black widow spiders? 

Of course Joe proves there is no accounting for taste.

Well, Rush - what can I say? Those were Dr. Maule's examples of attorneys, not mine! But assuming you are representative of the profession, it's a profession worthy of respect and admiration.

NOW will you not sue me? :-)

Good thing accountants have the personalities they do. Otherwise the world would be overpopulated with accountants repeating all those tired cliches.
